Job Title: Logistics Specialist/Ship Maintenance SupportJob Category: LogisticsTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental US* * ***The Opportunity:**As a Logistics Specialist, you'll be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command's Ship Maintenance Support Program providing a full range of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services to ships operating worldwide.**Responsibilities:**+ Research, order, and track material identified by Principal Port engineers as Government Furnished Material (GFM)+ Perform technical edit screening on all material or service order requests+ Research, submit, track, and validate requisitions and material required to support ship mission, repair, ashore allowances, and shipboard allowance requirements.+ Monitor and maintain the status of all material ordered for ship maintenance availabilities; participate in cradle to grave tracking processes to support ship maintenance scheduling.+ Maintain inventory accuracy of all assigned vessels stored in various MSC warehouses+ Perform task administration, team training and quality assurance+ Technical writing, developing, editing, reviewing and formatting trainee and desk guides.Qualifications:+ Secret clearance+ High school diploma or equivalent+ 14 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience fleet sustainment logistics support services to fleet vessels of the MSC, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Coast Guard.+ Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel+ Experience with ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing any of the following systems: MSC/Navy/Coast Guard/Commercial databases/systems as well as One Touch Supply LogiQuest or Haystack and FedMall-**What You Can Expect:****A culture of integrity.**At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
