SUMMARY:

The Logistics Supervisor will oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient management of supply chain processes, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities include supervising teams, coordinating with vendors and customers, managing schedules, and addressing operational challenges. The role also involves reviewing processes to optimize efficiency and maintaining compliance with safety and company policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support daily logistics, warehouse, and inventory operations.
  • Supervise, train, and guide team members to meet performance and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely shipments and high service levels.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics.
  • Identify workflow/process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
  • Respond to customer feedback and support overall customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of related logistics/warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills preferred (WMS/ERP experience a plus).
  • Ability to learn multiple logistical duties throughout the warehouse.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime, including weekends.
  • Must be a team player and able to follow written instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop or kneel.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • The employee must occasionally lift up to 35 pounds and /or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
