Logistics Supervisor with Import Export and SAP

A specialty manufacturing company in Oakridge TN is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager with Import Export and Trace Compliance knowledge with SAP.  Great opportunity with a growing company!

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving, inventory movement and ensuring trade compliance.  This includes internation shipments involving import/export documentation. 

• Supervise and train logistics employees and material handlers
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations including U.S Customs, CBP, EAR, ITAR and foreign trade requirements
• Oversee material movement and storage
• Oversee all modes of transportation-truck, rail, airplane and sea ensuring lowest cost and deadlines are met
• Primary contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders and government agencies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in similar role
• Working knowledge of internation trade compliance and import/export documentation
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience
• Strong SAP experience along with Microsoft Office
• Any supply chain certifications are desired-APICS CPIM or CSCP.
