Job Overview
Sigma Inc. is hiring a Logistics Support Coordinator for an onsite opportunity in Quincy. This role supports the Facilities team within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and focuses on logistics coordination, mailroom operations, and hands-on office support.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in logistics, facilities, warehouse support, or office operations who enjoy a physically active, fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics and facilities support activities across assigned sites
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail within the building
- Handle deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and courier services
- Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings and events
- Assist with office moves, relocations, and modular furniture setup
- Use hand tools such as cordless drills, levels, and tape measures
- Support large-scale logistics and relocation projects
- Collaborate with agency staff, vendors, landlords, and IT teams
- Travel to additional sites in Boston and Quincy as needed
- Enter and manage data in facilities ticketing systems (CAFM)
Required Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, facilities, mailroom, or operations support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Comfortable lifting 35–50 lbs regularly
- Experience using basic hand tools (drill, tape measure, level)
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with office relocations or facilities projects
- Familiarity with CAFM or facilities ticketing systems
- Experience working with government agencies or large organizations
