Logistics Support Coordinator
Location: Joint Staff Suffolk Complex, Suffolk, VA
Clearance Required: Current SECRET and ability to obtain a TOP SECRET SCI security clearance.
Overview
Leidos is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Coordinator to provide operational logistics expertise in support of the BOLD QUEST (BQ) Multinational Capability Demonstrations and Assessments. This position directly supports the Joint Staff J6 Joint Fires Integration Division (JFID), which leads the Department of War effort to modernize Globally Integrated All‑Domain Fires and Effects.
This role is ideal for a seasoned military logistics professional who thrives in fast‑paced, joint/coalition environments and wants to contribute to high‑visibility multinational demonstrations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Validate logistics requirements with U.S. Services and coalition partners
- Plan billeting, transportation, fuel, and food for multinational participants
- Develop logistics concepts of support, logistics annexes for Operations Plans (OPLANs) and Operations Orders (OPORDs)
- Support facilities planning and development of facility requirements
- Coordinate reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI) for personnel and cargo
- Ensure end‑to‑end logistics support during deployment and sustainment phases across dispersed BQ venues
- Support redeployment and facility close‑out with host installations
- Participate in After Action Reviews (AARs) and contribute logistics findings to post‑event reporting
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required. 4+ years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of military service as a commissioned officer, warrant officer, or senior NCO
- Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Significant experience in military supply and logistics operations
- Experience with transportation scheduling and coordination
- Familiarity with Government Contracting processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and documentation
- High proficiency with MS Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years as a commissioned officer, warrant officer, or senior NCO
- Master's degree
- Experience working on high‑level staff or joint/coalition organizations
