Job Title: Logistics Support: II
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 24 Months on W2.

Shift: Hours are 7 AM - 3 PM/3:30 PM depending on if they take a 30 minute or 1 hour lunch

Job Description:
  • Monitors supply chain and acts to prevent delays and shortages in the flow of materials from warehouse or suppliers to production lines and worksites.
  • Compiles and maintains inventory and status information to optimize movement of material and parts.
  • Uses ERP system to order, receive, ship and store parts and updates records.
  • Ensures required stock is on hand or on order to support operations.
  • Processes purchase requisitions to order required parts.
  • Tracks shipments, confirms rates with carriers, consolidates loads, and selects most cost effective method of transport.
  • Serves as a link between quality, engineering, customer service, production control and manufacturing to provide feedback on potential bottleneck areas.

Top 3 required skills:
  • Someone who has previously done timekeeping in previous roles,
  • someone who is able to manage multiple projects at once, and
  • someone who has used timekeeping software before (MyTime, etc.)
  • SAP experience would also be a plus
  • Construction industry experience would be a plus, but not required.
  • HS Diploma required
