Logistics Support II

Location: San Diego, CA (92121)
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00/3:30 PM
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $30-32/hour
Conversion Potential: Strong possibility for full-time hire based on performance and business needs

About the Opportunity

Join a large, well-established utility and infrastructure organization supporting critical field operations and construction projects throughout the region. This role supports an Electrical Construction Management team and plays a key part in keeping workforce operations organized, accurate, and running efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities, working closely with field and office teams, and ensuring accurate workforce and timekeeping administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily workforce scheduling and administrative operations
  • Process and maintain employee timekeeping records
  • Utilize timekeeping systems and software to ensure accurate reporting
  • Coordinate and track multiple projects, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Assist supervisors and operations teams with workforce-related documentation
  • Maintain records, reports, and operational data within company systems
  • Support construction and field operations teams with administrative coordination
  • Assist with SAP-related transactions and reporting as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience with employee timekeeping or payroll-related administration
  • Experience using timekeeping software (MyTime or similar systems)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP experience
  • Construction, utilities, field operations, or infrastructure industry experience
  • Experience supporting supervisors, operations, or workforce management teams
  • Exposure to labor tracking, workforce scheduling, or construction administration

Additional Requirements

  • This position requires candidates to provide their own laptop for work purposes.
  • The organization will configure secure virtual desktop access (VDI) on the device.
  • All other required systems access and onboarding support will be provided.
