    Logistics Support Specialist

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Field Office Logistics Support Specialist. Responsible for logistics support for Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) and Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) programs. Duties include receiving, inspecting, logging, organizing, storing, and tracking weapon system support parts, modification kits, repair parts, tools, and government- or contractor-furnished equipment. Coordinates the shipment, packaging, and transportation of materials in accordance with Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) requirements to support fielding, testing, modification, upgrade, and sustainment activities. Maintains accurate electronic and paper accountability records, resolves inventory and material discrepancies, and supports repair coordination and shipping activities. Provides logistical support to AIAMD Sweep modification and upgrade teams, Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) fielding teams, and the AIAMD Test Community to ensure mission readiness and operational effectiveness of Air Defense Artillery (ADA) and IFMC systems. Ensures compliance with logistics and supply chain functions and other duties as assigned.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, log, and store AIAMD weapon system support parts, modification kits, repair parts, tools, and contractor/government-furnished equipment to ensure accountability and readiness for future operations.
    • Coordinate the shipment and distribution of support materials, modification kits, and equipment required by AIAMD Sweep modification and upgrade teams, LEAD fielding teams, and other supported organizations.
    • Track inbound and outbound shipments, monitor delivery status, and ensure materials reach designated locations in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Conduct shipping, receiving, repair processing, and repair coordination activities to support operational and maintenance requirements.
    • Organize, inventory, and maintain modernization kit stock, ensuring proper storage, handling, accountability, and preservation of government property and mission-critical assets.
    • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, databases, and inventory management systems to support reporting and accountability requirements for Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC).
    • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, accountability issues, shipping problems, and kit/parts shortages through effective coordination with stakeholders and supply sources.
    • Prepare and coordinate Level A packaging and preservation of materials in accordance with Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) specifications and applicable transportation requirements.
    • Receive, organize, track, and store modification kits from contract vendors, ensuring inventory accuracy and availability for scheduled fielding and upgrade activities.
    • Support AIAMD Major End Item (MEI) upgrade programs by resolving kit and component issues and ensuring required materials are available to support modification efforts.
    • Provide logistical support to the AIAMD Test Community by supplying operational parts and equipment to maintain mission readiness and support Air Defense Artillery (ADA) and IFMC system testing.
    • Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, depots, and fielding organizations to ensure efficient execution of logistics, sustainment, fielding, and modification operations.
    • Generate reports and maintain documentation related to inventory status, shipment tracking, repair activities, and logistics operations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned in support of AIAMD, IFMC, and related logistics and sustainment missions.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience. In lieu of a degree 8 additional years can be substituted
    • Inventory Management & Stocking | Shipping & Receiving.
    • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment as required.
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a USG issued Secret Security Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse operational teams.
    • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite | FEDLOG, IADS 4, CDTDP, CDECP, EDIS
    • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness
