Overview:

Abacus Technology is seeking a Logistics Sustainment Analyst to provide acquisition support for the Technical Advisory and Assistance Services (TAAS) program at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level logistics management and data analysis.
  • Serve as the governance lead, responsible for spearheading the transformation of the NC3 data environment into a strategic, mission-ready asset.
  • Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the digital/automated environment, creating and owning the processes that underpin it.
  • Direct, develop, and perform integrated logistics management operations by planning, coordinating, and evaluating the actions required to support the weapon system.
  • Perform continuous analysis of maintenance and performance data to assess system availability, evaluate supply chain effectiveness, and identify performance trends and risks.
  • Work directly within databases, using an advanced querying skillset to extract, aggregate, and analyze information from disparate sources.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods, including forecasting and data mining, to provide predictive analysis and recommend improvements to sustainment strategies, enhancing operational readiness.
  • Develop and present clear and concise analyses, reports, and strategic recommendations to senior-level management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on key program documentation such as the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Product Support Business Case Analyses (PS-BCA).
Qualifications:

10+ years experience in acquisition and logistics support.  Master’s degree in a related field.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase.  Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000.  Knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support element structure.  Extensive knowledge of the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes.  Able to leverage a strong background in digital engineering to support data management and analysis.  Able to integrate and coordinate the efforts of functional specialists across all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to ensure a cohesive and effective support strategy.  Familiar with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA).  Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook.  Knowledge of department/agency policies and procedures related to the implementation and management of a government furnished equipment (GFE) program.  Knowledge of department/agency policies and procedures related to the inventory and tracking of accountable property.  Able to lead a project team in completing complex projects.  Must have a proven ability to lead complex projects, and advanced analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to address complex logistics challenges.  Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.  Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Visio and Project.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.

 

The projected compensation range for this position is $154,300-$178,600. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
