As Logistics Technician I, you will work in our Operations Leadership Group in a world-class logistics organization. You’ll be a cross-functional team member partnering across all departments of the company to provide actionable supply chain business insights. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with inventory control, international shipping, procurement, project planning, transportation channels, computer data/system solutions, business communications, and business intelligence. The Logistics Tech offers valuable exposure to all business units within NETCEED and applicable experience. - Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
- General experience with various manufacturing and distribution operations
Requirements/Key Experiences - Two (2) plus years’ logistics or warehouse experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, speak, and write in English
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- Ability to regularly lift/maneuver up to 40+ lbs, stand, bend, walk, lift, and reach
- Ability to use hand tools and operate all equipment in a safe, responsible manner
- Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting a professional attitude, honesty, and integrity
- Other duties as outlined by leadership.
- On average, a picker must deal with anywhere from 10 to 20 reps per day
- On average, one will?handle anything under 40+ lbs without machinery
- On average, anything?over 30lbs one handles with machinery
- Working knowledge of inventory control software programs (Oracle E-Business, Sage)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Valid Driver’s License for operating in the state
Physical Demands & Work Environment: - Continually required to stand during scheduled time up to 7 hours/day
- Occasionally required to walk between work areas
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity/motor skills
- Continually required to bend
- Continually required to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information
- Continually required to lift/carry/reach up items repeatedly up to 0 pounds and occasionally to push up to 40 pounds
- Continually work near moving mechanical equipment, such as Forklifts
- Continually work around cleaning material chemicals
- Occasional loud noise (examples: metal can manufacture, large earth-moving equipment)
- Comfortable working in a large, open space Warehouse environment exposed to some heat/cold elements

- The ability to routinely lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 40 lbs. (ask for help or use available equipment (forklift, hand jack, power jack, etc))
