Job Purpose:
Inspect, receive & place into inventory new and used equipment
Maintain a safe, well-organized & clean warehouse environment
Prepare equipment & tools based on work schedule
Assist with product installations at customer site, as required.
Prepare/repair rental equipment for reuse

Primary Responsibilities
Maintains physical inventory located at the warehouse(s) in an organized and efficient manner. Proactively improves or makes recommendations for improving inventory control. Refurbished used stairlifts; cleans used ramp.
In collaboration with the Project Manager & Customer Care Manager(s), has primary responsibility for maintaining timely & accurate inventory records in the appropriate systems as the equipment is delivered, installed, or recovered.
Reorders "core" equipment as necessary; collaborates with Owner to order "custom" equipment.
Maintains tools and specialty equipment in safe working order, or replaces as required. Includes maintaining charged batteries for hand tools. Proactively improves or makes recommendations for improving storage and readiness of special tools.
Prepares standard and custom equipment and any specialty tools before the scheduled installation date. Cuts rail for straight stairlifts, pre-assembles feet for curved stair lifts, and pre-stages job packets with the equipment for each job.
Assists with loading equipment in company vehicles, and securing it in an orderly manner. As necessary, transports equipment safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws.
Assists with weekly vehicle check and vehicle maintenance.
Collaborates with Mobility Specialists (installers) to ensure an appropriate level of parts and components are on each vehicle.
Under the Project Manager's guidance, submits warranty labor claims and manages the equipment returns process with various manufacturers.
Identifies and adheres to safe workplace practices, including observance of MIOSHA and fire regulations.
Secondary or occasional responsibilities:
Works under the guidance of the Project Manager & Owner to establish re-order points for standard products, tools and or equipment.
Assists with monthly, quarterly or annual inventory audits, as necessary.
Assists with rental deliveries and installation jobs as needed.
Maintains demo equipment in the showroom(s).
Participates in certified training such as product installation and service, MIOSHA, and first aid.

The successful candidate must:
Organizational skills
Demonstrate mechanical and technical abilities, including electronics diagnostics and the installation/servicing of products
Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
Demonstrate results orientation and ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate proficiency in using MS Office or equivalent Google Office products
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
