Long Term Care LPN Assignment  - 8 weeks

Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license within the state of Idaho.

Certifications Requirements:

  • BLS certification.
  • IV Certification.
  • Current Idaho State Nursing License.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN, preferably in long-term care settings.
  • Prior experience with night shifts is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to handle the demands of long-term care nursing.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient progress and any changes in health status accurately in EMR systems.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
  • Execute medication administration and IV therapy as prescribed by physicians.
