Job Details

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Night Supervisor to oversee overnight clinical operations in a skilled nursing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance during night shift operations. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and confident in making clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision of nursing staff during overnight shifts
  • Ensure resident care is delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with care plans
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance in urgent situations
  • Conduct rounds to monitor residents and ensure quality of care
  • Support staff with clinical decision-making and workflow management
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and communication between shifts
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
  • Address staffing needs and coordinate assignments as needed
  • Report incidents, concerns, and updates to administration and DON/ADON
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and professional environment for residents and staff

Qualifications:

  • Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and facility operations

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Full-time night shift position: 11p - 7a 40 hours per week
