Job Details

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Night Supervisor to oversee overnight clinical operations in a skilled nursing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining regulatory compliance during night shift operations. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and confident in making clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct supervision of nursing staff during overnight shifts
Ensure resident care is delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with care plans
Respond to clinical emergencies and provide guidance in urgent situations
Conduct rounds to monitor residents and ensure quality of care
Support staff with clinical decision-making and workflow management
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and communication between shifts
Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Address staffing needs and coordinate assignments as needed
Report incidents, concerns, and updates to administration and DON/ADON
Promote a safe, supportive, and professional environment for residents and staff

Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific)
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and facility operations

Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time night shift position: 11p - 7a 40 hours per week
