Job Summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Long Term Care Pharmacist for an onsite contract role in Vineland, NJ . In this role, you’ll dispense medications, counsel patients and caregivers, support safe medication use, and oversee pharmacy operations and staff in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state/federal laws
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosing, side effects, and interactions
• Monitor medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
• Communicate drug-related concerns to physicians and other healthcare practitioners
• Compound medications (including preparation of sterile solutions following proper procedures)
• Educate patients on proper use of devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
• Support wellness services as needed (e.g., smoking cessation, blood pressure/cholesterol education)
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, etc.)
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical/medical supplies

• Requirements

  • PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required
  • Active pharmacist license in the state (NJ) required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain compliant documentation
  • Ability to work onsite in Vineland, NJ
