Long Term Spanish Sub - Grades 6-12

Paragon Science Academy is seeking a dedicated and reliable Long-Term Substitute Teacher to lead 6th through 12th Grade Spanish classes. This role requires someone who can step in confidently, maintain instructional continuity, and uphold strong classroom expectations from day one.

Your Role Will Include

• Delivering daily Spanish instruction for grades 6 through 12 following established curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional expectations.
• Creating an engaging, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
• Implementing classroom management strategies that promote student achievement.
• Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and supporting individual learning needs.
• Maintaining accurate attendance, grades, and classroom records.
• Communicating effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Collaborating with teachers and administrators to ensure a smooth transition and consistent student support.
• Promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Secondary Spanish teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable.
• Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $190.00 per day, paid bi-weekly.
• This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Benefits are not included.

Location & Shift Times

• Paragon Science Academy, Chandler, AZ 85224. In-Person. Full-Time.
• Monday through Friday.
