Long Term Special Education Teacher

The Plymouth Joint School District is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and student-centered educators to serve as Long-Term Substitute Teachers at Parkview Elementary School during the 2026-2027 school year. This temporary position provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while maintaining continuity of instruction for students.

Available Position

• Assignment Dates: December 18th- March 18th
• Approximately 55 school days
• Deliver daily instruction following established lesson plans and curriculum.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student behavior expectations.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and school staff to support student learning.
• Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the classroom teacher.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Sustitute teaching license required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students, families, and staff.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Compensation will be provided according to the Plymouth Joint School District''s long-term substitute pay schedule.
