Long Term Substitute Art Teacher at Burr Elementary

Position to run from August 26th through approximately September 30th

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

• Follows lesson plans left by the teacher for the initial units of study
• Plans and implements daily instruction in art for students in grades K-3
• Maintains high standards of safety throughout class
• Builds positive rapport with students while creating an active and fun learning environment
• Performs other specific duties as assigned by the building administrator

QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate Connecticut teaching certification and/or experience with elementary age students preferred.
