Compensation: $235.73 daily rate for licensed teachers

About the Role

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a meaningful impact? Byron Community Education is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our fantastic team for a few months. In this role, you will bring energy and joy to two distinct groups of young learners each day, leading a vibrant morning preschool class and an afternoon preschool class. If you love building relationships, fostering curiosity, and working in a supportive, community-focused environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Preschool Instruction: Lead engaging, age-appropriate daily lessons and activities for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervision: Oversee students during transitions, playtime, and other assigned duties to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaboration: Work alongside a wonderful team of educators dedicated to helping Byron's youngest learners thrive.

• Ideally: A candidate holding a valid Minnesota Teaching License (Early Childhood or equivalent).
• Realistically: If you don't have a license but possess robust experience working in early childhood education and the confidence to step smoothly into a classroom lead role, we encourage you to apply!
