DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM Under the direction of the Culver City Middle School Principal, the CTE Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) Teacher will be responsible for leading AME at Culver City Middle School. The AME Teacher will instruct students in the subject areas of theatre, music, dance and production. In addition to daytime performances, the AME Teacher will oversee the CCMS Performances program by providing instruction, leadership and supervision to students on two productions per year.

This is to cover a teacher on leave. Length of assignment is to be determined. QUALIFICATIONS Must possess a valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential that fully authorizes Arts, Media, and Entertainment, or eligibility to satisfy all requirements to apply for a preliminary credential in the authorized area indicated previously. English Learner authorization or equivalent is required. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district. All candidates with a record of convictions must indicate such on the confidential/legal section of the application, which is attached to the job application. A record of conviction will not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment, but a failure to list all convictions may result in disqualification or dismissal.
