Long-Term Substitute - Early Childhood Special Education

Kiel Area School District is looking for a long term substitute for Early Childhood Special Education Teacher from Early/Mid October through end of December.

The role as an ECSE is:

• Teaching an early childhood class two days a week from 8:45-11am, in conjunction with supporting students with disabilities.

• Supporting students with disabilities in the general education 4K setting when not in the early childhood setting

• Following IEP goals of students with disabilities

• Supporting students within all areas of building for recess, lunch, bathrooming, and specials

• Communicating and assisting para professionals who help support students on the caseload

• Collaborating and coplanning with the 4k general education teachers, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and para professionals

• CPI training is recommended but not required

• Able to lift up to 50lbs, including assisting with lifting/transferring students
