The Walnut Creek School District is seeking a guest teacher for a long-term substitute position from the start of the school year through approximately October 2026 in a moderate K-1 special day classroom.

Requirements / Qualifications

EdJoin Certificated Application Resume Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject Credential, TPSL, 30-day sub permit (with experience) or the ability to obtain one. Please be sure to list at least two current references.

We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
