POSITION AVAILABLE: Long-Term Substitute LPN/Health Paraprofessional or Licensed School Nurse

POSITION LOCATION: SWWC Service Cooperative with placement in the Kandiyohi and Renville County area.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

LPN/Health Paraprofessional:Under the direction of the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health, the LPN/Health Paraprofessional is responsible for providing skilled nursing services, delegated nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records within the building of assignment and in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Licensed School Nurse: Under the direction of the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health the Licensed School Nurse is responsible for overseeing, planning, and implementing the programs, services, operations and staff of health services providing skilled nursing services, nursing treatments, health assessments, Special Education evaluations, and program implementation. Duties of the job involve developing and implementing agency-wide health services, policies and procedures; leading health personnel; planning and implementing programs to address health related barriers to learning and promoting the wellness of students and staff.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

LPN/Health Paraprofessional: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with a degree in Nursing; minimum of 2 years nursing experience and working with students with multiple handicaps preferred. Current CPR and First Aid Certification required. Valid driver's license required.

School Nurse: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience or directly related work experience preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the MN Board of Nursing; Licensure as a Public Health Nurse by the MN Board of Nursing; and current CPR and First Aid certification is required. Valid driver's license.

SALARY: This long-term sub position will begin August 4th, 2026, for up to 84 days.

LPN/Health Paraprofessional: Salary of $27/hour.

School Nurse: Bachelor's salary ranges from $54,477 to $74,870 annually. Master's salary ranges from $64,965 - $96,796 annually. All dependent on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience.
