Long-Term Substitute-Medical Careers Teacher

This is a Long-Term Assignment

The job of CTE Teacher was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group an individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other

professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.

Qualifications Required :

• Currently licensed as an RN in Pennsylvania.
• Possess any license/certification as a healthcare professional with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and is currently licensed/certified in their field of practice.
• A licensed ( active) Practical Nurse and be willing to take and pass the Occupational Competency Assessment.
• 4 years of industry experience and expertise required.

Qualifications Desired:

• Possess a valid PDE Vocational I or II certificate (Career and Technical Medical Careers) or be willing to enroll in a certification program

This is 10-Month position that follows a school day schedule with nights and weekends off, excellent public school benefits after 95 days.
