Summary: Middle School Teachers are responsible for instructing students in grades 6-8. They create lesson plans and a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program. This assignment lasts from August 11, 2026 to December 18, 2026.

Salary and Benefits: The long-term substitute rate is $180 per day. The district offers substitutes leave at the rate of 1 hour per every 30 hours worked under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA). Substitutes are enrolled in a PERA retirement plan and have the an option to enroll in a supplemental 401(k) plan. The district provides health insurance benefits including dental and vision, PERA retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability, an optional supplemental 401(k) plan, an employee assistance plan.
