POSITION AVAILABLE: Physical Education (PE) Teacher
POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement at ELC Cosmos
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Under the general supervision of the Site Administrator, The Physical Education Teacher strives to develop students' physical skills and abilities, strength, agility, poise, coordination, and teamwork; educates students' understanding of the importance of exercise to physical and mental well-being; and to motivate students to work towards, physical fitness, hygiene, and good health.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment; Minnesota State Certification as a Physical Education Teacher; Minnesota State Certification as a Health Teacher preferred. Valid driver's license required.
CONTRACT/SALARY: This part-time position begins on September 1, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year, with a salary range of $54,477 to $98,387, depending on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience.
