Must be certified as a Student Assistance Coordinator, Substance Abuse Coordinator, or School Counselor
Student Assistance Coordinator must possess
- leadership ability
- a thorough knowledge of alcohol, drug, and tobacco prevention and rehabilitation
- a thorough knowledge of student assistance counseling
- a thorough knowledge of student assistance counseling and understanding of 42 CFR
- the ability to effectively and cooperatively work with teaching staff members, students, parents, other district and local assistance program representatives and administration
- responsibilities also include serving as the High School's Anti-Bullying Specialist
