Position Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Location: Adeline Montessori School
Anticipated Start Date: August 31st, 2026
Anticipated Hours: 40 hours per week
Anticipated Rate of Pay: 19.50 to 23 dollars an hour based on experience
Adeline Montessori School is seeking an experienced and passionate long-term substitute teacher to join our team beginning in the upcoming school year. This position will support a lower elementary classroom serving students in 1st through 3rd grade. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will work collaboratively alongside a Lead Montessori Teacher to create a supportive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that reflects Montessori philosophy. The long-term substitute will be placed in the lower elementary classroom for a period of 6 to 10 weeks.

Qualifications:
A DPI Long Term Substitute License, or the possibility of obtaining one
Experience working with Elementary aged kids
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with staff, students, and families
