Long Term Substitute Teacher

Morning Star Catholic School, Tampa, is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Long-Term substitute Primary ESE teacher to join our team. We are committed to providing a nurturing and faith-filled learning environment where students are empowered to reach their full potential.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and Catholic teachings.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, character development, and spiritual formation.
• Establish and maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child.
• Integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance learning experiences and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and participate in school-wide events, professional development activities, and parent conferences.
• Uphold the mission and values of Bishop Larkin Catholic School by serving as a role model of faith, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Previous experience teaching at the elementary level, particularly in a primary classroom (K-3), is preferred. In addition, also preferred is experience teaching students with learning difficulties and related challenges.
• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must undergo a Level 2 background screening and complete Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
