Summary
Franklin Road Academy seeks a long-term substitute for an Upper School Science teacher. The term will last from August 6, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Candidates should have experience teaching Advanced Placement courses and experience with teaching physics. Candidates should desire to be a part of a collaborative faculty that resonates with FRA's mission to develop leaders of integrity in an inclusive Christian community. This position requires close coordination with other grade-level teachers. The department will meet regularly to share best practices and ensure a collegial atmosphere of growth and development. Candidates for this position should have a passion for science and have a desire to grow as instructors and mentors of students. All teachers at FRA are advisors of groups of 8-10 students that meet 4 times per week. Teachers are encouraged to integrate themselves into the school community.
