Reduces Cherokee Nation's Commercial Auto risks by performing all support functions associated with the Motor Vehicle Process used to police all insured drivers of CN, CN CEC, HACN and CN Home Health. Completes associated internal and external billing process to allocate incurred expenses to appropriate department/entity in order to recover budgetary monies. Generates Certificates of Completion for each training conducted/coordinated by department. Tracks productivity; generates monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Maintains hard-copy filing system and electronic confidential filing systems. Prepares cost comparisons, conducts research, makes deposits, orders supplies and equipment.
Job Duties:Orders Motor Vehicle report (MVR) from service provider; reviews MVR and completes CN Under-Rating form. Prepares Approval documents for driving history unquestionably in compliance with respective Human Resources (HR) policy. Thoroughly researches violations involving drugs, alcohol, excessive speeding tickets, suspensions, revocations, etc. Utilizes internet, phone, fax and mail to complete investigative tasks. Prepares Exclusion or Probationary documents; presents investigative finding to management and executive management; obtains signatures; maintains centralized driver database and hard copy files. Updates both filing systems to reflect updated license, exclusions and reinstates as necessary. Conducts searches online, requesting motor vehicle case information via fax, e-mail, phone, and by mail from city, state, and federal courts and databases. Travels to respective courts to confirm information and obtain additional information/copies as needed. Creates Driver Policing database and updates daily to reflect accurate information on the status (approved/excluded, expired/suspended/revoked) of each driver's license; Generates Certificates of Completion for successful completion of loss control/risk management training courses. Tracks instructor productivity by producing reports on frequency of trainings and number of attendees. Prepares PowerPoint slides and reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; comparative analysis over a variety of time spans is required. Performs monthly billing functions for MVR Service, allocating costs to respective insured program/entity via journal entries or external invoicing; Opens, logs in, sorts and routes incoming and outgoing mail; opens routine office equipment. Completes cost analysis on required purchases prior to generating requisitions as needed to order supplies/materials/equipment. Tracks purchase process to ensure all items are received and purchase order is closed appropriately; maintains inventory; conducts no less than annual inventory. Reconciles payments; prepares related audit work papers; forecasts expenditures through year end and for next fiscal year. Provides technical assistance and guidance regarding required documents, reviewing applicable laws, policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one and one-half years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
An additional one year experience in a related field is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
An individual should have knowledge of Database, Human Resources Systems, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). Operation of fire extinguisher and/or standard office machines would be beneficial. Attendance must comply and be maintained in compliance with unit operating policies.
