We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Document Specialistopportunity with a large mortgage servicing and financial Institution.

The Document Specialist will be responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Receiving, tracking, indexing, scanning, imaging, and storing physical and electronic documents.
  • Uploading and managing documents within digital document management systems.
  • Maintaining accurate document inventories and status updates.
  • Receiving and signing for deliveries from carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and U.S. Government clients.
  • Identifying, sorting, distributing, and processing incoming physical and electronic mail.
  • Performing accurate data entry and maintaining reliable records.
  • Monitoring and processing electronic mail and workflow queues.
  • Maintaining detailed notes and documentation regarding document status and activities.
  • Supporting collateral and loan servicing operations as needed.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • Prior experience in document management, records management, or clerical processing roles.
  • Experience with document management systems and/or loan servicing systems.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scanning/imaging systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

  • Experience in mortgage servicing environments.
  • Understanding of collateral documents, foreclosure processes, and bankruptcy procedures.
  • Previous mailroom, clerical, or administrative support experience.
Pay Rate Range:  $25-30 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
