We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a SPOC/Loss Mitigation opportunity with a large mortgage servicing and financial Institution.

The SPOC/Loss Mitigation is responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delinquent or high-value mortgage accounts.
  • Maintain consistent borrower communication and provide guidance on available loss mitigation options.
  • Contact borrowers to negotiate and implement loss mitigation solutions (loan modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu).
  • Assist borrowers with account inquiries, payment options, and loan status updates.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls while delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Evaluate borrower financial situations and recommend appropriate loss mitigation solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including loss mitigation, escrow, and collections teams.
  • Handle complex cases including bankruptcy accounts, liquidation outcomes, and specialty borrower situations.
Required qualifications for the position include

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, collections, or customer support.
  • Experience handling borrower communications and delinquent mortgage accounts.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Required qualifications for the position include

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited two-year college.
  • Prior experience as a SPOC or Loss Mitigation Specialist in mortgage servicing.
  • Experience with mortgage servicing systems such as MSP, Black Knight/LPS, or Sagent.
Pay Rate: $26.50 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
