Lot Attendant / CDL A Driver

Are you an experienced CDL A (unrestricted) driver who enjoys a variety of tasks? Have you operated heavy equipment? Vermeer All Roads in Ashland, VA is searching for a CDL A truck driver/general laborer/yard tech assistant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for transporting Vermeer equipment, assisting technicians/mechanics, and organizing equipment on the lot. You will be driving a Ford 550 with a trailer and operating Vermeer equipment. This is a full time, benefits eligible position with a competitive hourly rate. Must be at least 21 years old, insurable by our carrier (clean driving record) and at least 3 years recent delivery/driving experience. Reach out today for an interview.

Responsibilities
- Observe and follow safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Secure equipment safely onto the trailer
- Operate Vermeer equipment and organize neatly around the dealership
- Remain alert while operating the vehicle
- Assist technicians in the shop
- Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with employees and customers
- All other duties as assigned.
