As a Lot Attendant/Detail, you are essential to our operations, ensuring every vehicle on our lot is presented impeccably and ready for our customers. You maintain the pristine condition of our inventory, creating a positive first impression and contributing significantly to our brand image and customer satisfaction. This role is dynamic, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in vehicle presentation and lot organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Lot Attendant/Detail performs critical tasks that uphold our standards and enhance the customer experience. You:

• Performs thorough vehicle detailing, ensuring all vehicles meet presentation standards.
• Executes comprehensive car washing, including exterior cleaning and interior cleaning, to maintain vehicle aesthetics.
• Applies polishing techniques to vehicle surfaces, enhancing their shine and protection.
• Manages vehicle movement safely and efficiently within the lot and to designated areas.
• Maintains impeccable lot organization, ensuring vehicles are displayed logically and attractively.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Provides courteous customer service when assisting clients or staff with vehicle inquiries.
• Inspects vehicles for cleanliness and readiness before customer delivery or display.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, including detailing equipment and supplies.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience in vehicle detailing, car washing, or a similar automotive service role is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge/Skills

• Holds a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail in all aspects of vehicle care and lot management.
• Applies knowledge of vehicle detailing, car washing, interior cleaning, exterior cleaning, and polishing techniques.
• Understands safe practices for vehicle movement and lot organization.
• Exhibits effective customer service and communication skills.
• Possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or professional detailing environment.
• Familiarity with various detailing products and equipment.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

• Routinely stands, walks, bends, stoops, and kneels for extended periods.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Works outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Operates detailing equipment and power tools safely.
• Tolerates exposure to vehicle exhaust fumes, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels.
