    Lot Porter (Carlsbad)

    Carlsbad, NM

    We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused team member to help keep our dealership or service facility running smoothly and efficiently. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the lot by maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and attention to safety are important.

    Responsibilities

    • Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot in a safe and efficient manner
    • Assist with vehicle deliveries, pickups, and general transport as needed
    • Keep the lot, showroom entrances, and surrounding areas clean and presentable
    • Check vehicles for basic appearance needs such as cleanliness, fuel level, and general readiness
    • Support sales and service teams with vehicle coordination and customer assistance
    • Maintain inventory organization and help ensure vehicles are properly staged
    • Perform routine duties such as washing vehicles, removing debris, and restocking supplies
    • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures while operating vehicles and equipment
    • Provide courteous support to customers and coworkers

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Ability to safely operate standard and automatic vehicles
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping work areas organized
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
    • Basic communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move vehicles or equipment throughout the shift

    Preferred Experience

    • Previous experience in a dealership, automotive, maintenance, or lot support environment
    • Familiarity with vehicle organization, detailing, or transport tasks
