Position Overview

We are currently seeking dynamic and detail-oriented professionals to join the team as Lottery DrawingAssociate & On-Air Hosts. This role is considered an essential position.

Lottery Drawing Associate & On-Air Hosts rotate between two primary assignments: serving as the on-air host and presenter for live lottery drawings and supporting the operational execution of drawings behind the scenes. Successful candidates must be comfortable appearing on camera for a public audience, communicating clearly with enthusiasm, following detailed procedures, and working in a structured, security-sensitive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure drawing scripts, procedures, and presentation standards are followed.

  • Support the official certification and completion of drawings.
  • Identify, document, and escalate irregularities, procedural deviations, equipment issues, or other concerns in accordance with CLC policy.
  • Coordinate with other drawing staff, production personnel, security, auditors, vendors, or other designated personnel as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in training, rehearsals, meetings, and performance reviews.
  • Support draw ball integrity sessions and related documentation.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, equipment checks, and technical tasks.
  • May occasionally move or lift drawing-related equipment as needed. Weights will generally not exceed 20lbs.
  • Must adhere to broadcast standards for on-camera performance in terms of appearance and attire.
  • Support responsible gambling messaging and CLC’s strict standards for public trust, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Perform other related duties necessary to conduct Connecticut Lottery business.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of professional, volunteer, academic, or equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: broadcasting, public speaking, media production, performing arts, communications, live presentation, regulated operations, compliance-driven administrative work, or another closely related field.
