Job Summary

The Lounge Busser-Runner will deliver a quality experience while maintaining a great energy and vibe. The role

involves supporting team members by clearing tables, supporting in guest service, and ensuring side stations are

clean.

The Lounge Busser-Runner will also sweep debris from the floor, keeping it dry and spill-free. Soiled cups should be

collected and taken to the back of house for washing. Additionally, all trash, such as bottles and napkins, should

be promptly disposed of. Inventory should be retrieved and restocked as required, ensuring proper setup and

maintenance of restaurant/nightclub service.

Duties-Responsibilities

Greeting guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome

Guide guests through all phases of their experience

Check ordered food items, ensure accuracy and deliver items to guests according to steps of service

Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention

Ensure proper rotation of all sauces, condiments, and toppings

Clean all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order

Keep bar tops & table tops, floors, service areas, and POS station/s clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty

ashtrays, trash, and any unnecessary items throughout shift

Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage product

Stock and wipe plates in assigned areas

Work as a liaison between kitchen and serving staff, conveying guest issues

Stacking and stocking of side stations with folded napkins, extra share plates, chopsticks, chopstick rest,

glassware and silverware.

Setting up and breaking down of side stations before and after service.

Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where

necessary

Clean all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, use floor signs when necessary.

Loading / unloading linens when necessary.

Clean all spills and waste immediately

Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

Maintain a level of professionalism, that will make guests want to return

Bid farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encourage them to return

Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment

Communicate effectively with management and service team members in order to fulfill and address

any issues or needs requested by guests and or other team members

Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and team members’ needs and inquiries

Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and all health and

safety regulations set by County health department

Perform side work as assigned

Work Experience & Knowledge-Education Background

6 months to 1 year experience in a similar work environment

License-Certificates :

SNHD Food Handlers Card

Alcohol Awareness Cert

Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in The United States
