Low-Voltage Electrical Assembly Technician

Build the tech that powers our products in Alachua

Step into our Alachua shop and start your day reviewing build specs, schematics, and parts bins. You’ll assemble and wire low-voltage systems, populate and handle PCBs, integrate logic controllers, and put power tools to smart use to bring products from subassembly to tested, working units.

Compensation: $20–$25 per hour DOE, plus a generous benefits package and PTO.

What a typical day looks like

• Build and commission low-voltage electrical assemblies and finished products in accordance with specifications.
• Track and execute routine maintenance and inspection schedules to keep equipment and tooling in top condition.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service electronic systems when issues arise.
• Run functional and performance tests at the system level to verify operation and quality.
• Maintain accurate counts of electronic components, PCBs, and tools; initiate restocks to avoid shortages.
• Identify and recommend component changes or design tweaks that improve reliability and performance.

• Hands-on electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring, PCB handling, logic/PLC-style controllers, power tools, and standard assembly practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
• A consistent, stable work history.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and cross-train.
• Reliable transportation to our Alachua facility.
