We are an established manufacturer of large irrigation pumping systems, specializing in service, repair, refurbishment, installation, and new system builds. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Low Voltage Switchboard Panel Assembly Technician to play a key role in supporting the build of new pumping units.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for assisting the lead technician in assembling and wiring low-voltage switchboards and control panels. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with control wiring, can work independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliable operation of our electrical systems—from initial assembly through final testing and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to engineering specifications
- Install and terminate control wiring, cables, and harnesses with precision
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall product quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in panel building or control wiring (preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Solid understanding of electrical components, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Electrical certification or vocational training is a plus

- Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
