  • Experience in low-voltage, construction, electrical, telecommunications, maintenance, or a related field preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when needed

Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus

  • Structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber)
  • Security cameras (CCTV)
  • Access control systems
  • Wi-Fi and wireless networking
  • Audio/visual systems

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install and support structured cabling systems in commercial buildings
  • Pull, route, and secure communication cables
  • Assist with installation of network, Wi-Fi, security, access control, and surveillance systems
  • Read and follow project drawings and installation plans
  • Use testing equipment to verify connections and system performance
  • Work safely and professionally on customer job sites
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Collaborate with experienced technicians to complete projects on time and to a high standard
