Low Voltage Technician

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Job Description:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to understand the requirements of the job
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems such as security systems, audio/visual systems, network infrastructure, etc.
• Identifying and troubleshooting any technical issues with the systems
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on the systems when necessary
• Ensuring that all work is done in accordance with safety standards and building codes

Wanted Skills/Experience

• Experience installing and programming integration/control systems, AV systems, lighting control systems, and security systems
• Experience specifically with Savant Control systems, Honeywell security, Lutron automated shades and lighting control
• Experience with low voltage rough-ins for new construction
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and communicate effectively with customers and staff
