Job Summary: The Lowboy Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy construction equipment and machinery using a lowboy trailer. This role requires experience in operating and securing oversized and overweight loads in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The driver must also perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain accurate records, and support the operations team with equipment mobilization and demobilization.

Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and compactors. Operate lowboy trailers, including detach and attach of gooseneck units. Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations. Obtain and carry required permits for oversize and overweight loads. Communicate clearly with dispatch, field supervisors, and equipment managers.
