SUMMARY
The Recreation Leader & Student Support supports the daily needs of the Lower School through student supervision, classroom academic support, and after-school recreation. This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers and school administration to provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students throughout the school day.
During the academic day, the Recreation Leader & Student Support assists classroom teachers with small-group instruction, with an emphasis on Language Arts and reading support. All academic support is provided under the direction and guidance of the core classroom teacher, principal and curriculum coordinator.
The position also provides supervision during recess, lunch, and other non-classroom times and transitions into the After-School Program at the end of the academic day, helping to lead recreational and enrichment activities.
Hours: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, year round
Start: Immediate opening

COMPENSATION
This position has an expected hourly range of $22.00 - $32.00.
