We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Set up cardiac procedures such as Cardiac Catheterizations, Device implants , Transesophageal echocardgiograms, etc.
Obtain prior authorizations for tests, procedures, and medications
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing
Communicate with patients regarding procedures, preparation, and follow-up instructions
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
Support physicians and other clinical staff as needed
Requirements:
Current and valid New York State LPN License
Previous experience in a cardiology or other medical specialty preferred
Knowledge of insurance guidelines and prior authorization processes
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills

Compensation:
