RN or LPN - Part time- 32 hours biweekly

Responsibilities:

To coordinate total nursing for residents in area(s) assigned and to provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other interdisciplinary team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.

• • Implements the nursing process to identify residents/patients’ needs, using the interdisciplinary team approach to supply appropriate interventions. Provides direct care to residents in accordance with facility standards and standards of nursing practice. Delegates to the LPN, CMA, GNA, unit aid and unit secretary.
  • Monitors residents/patients’ physical/mental status on an ongoing basis, responding to clinical changes and emergency situations. Provides clear, professional communication to staff, residents, medical practitioners and family members.
  • Answers resident call lights, serving as a role model for all members of the care team.
  • Completes all documentation as required by facility standards, regulatory standards and standards of nursing practice.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and enforces Stella Maris infection control standards, emergency procedures, safety policies, and hazardous material procedures. Provides direction to staff as needed during unanticipated situations.
  • Responsible for the prudent use of supplies and materials and assures that the environment is maintained in a clean, orderly and comfortable condition, ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED CERT/LICENSE: RN or LPN License

Min: USD $29.75/Hr. Max: USD $44.79/Hr. Salary Information: Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications. Benefits:
