LPN-Behavioral Health

Overview:

We are looking for part-time or PRN staff to work in our department! These are the current hours we have available: 

 

• Days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, for 48 hours per pay period
• Evenings, 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm, for 32 hours per pay period
• Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, for 24 hours per pay period
• PRN, as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult behavioral health patients under the direction of an RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Build trusting relationships while promoting dignity, safety, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with therapeutic interventions and support individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.
• Help create a safe, supportive environment that encourages healing and recovery.

Qualifications:

Education: 

• Graduate of an accredited License Practical Nursing program

Certification/License: 

• Current active LPN license issued by the Iowa Board of Nursing
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire
