This key position is responsible for overseeing the assigned shift, supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care with the unit manager and director of nursing support, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes within our skilled nursing department. What You'll DoLead and ContributeProvide direct supervision to nursing staff, oversee accurate medication administration, ensure timely completion of treatments, and uphold all regulatory standards.Provide direct resident care within LPN scope of practice.Maintain real-time awareness of resident condition, providing direction during changes in status or critical situations. Document and CommunicateParticipate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers ensuring smooth transitions. Monitors call-light response performance and intervenes to maintain prompt resident support. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being. Grow and DevelopContribute to ongoing enhancement of resident care and services. Participate in training, competencies, and continued education.Facilitate conflict resolution and support a positive work environment.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsPossess a current, valid, and unencumbered LPN license in the state of Oregon. A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (long-term care preferred).Current CPR certification.
