The LPN is responsible for administering nursing care to patients via the nursing process; assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The nurse also instructs patients and significant others in health care practices, working in collaboration with other health team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Professional & Technical Skills
Experience gained through an approved School of Nursing plus an appropriate period of hospital orientation to the assigned patient care area and to personnel.
Education
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
License(s) or Certificate(s)
Must posses a current Indiana license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Other skills or requirements
Ability to type 30 wpm with 6 errors or less.
Skilled to care for certain age-related patient groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)
