Eden Center For Integrative Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our corrections healthcare team in Fort Edward, NY. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and nursing services to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility setting
Administer medications, treatments, and injections in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately in medical records
Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent/acute care as needed
Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Perform wound care, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures within LPN scope of practice
Maintain compliance with correctional facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare standards
Requirements:
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New York
Prior experience in corrections, behavioral health, or similar clinical environment preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-stress or unpredictable situations
Solid knowledge of medication administration, infection control, and patient safety protocols
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Current CPR/BLS certification required
