    What You Will Do:

    • Provide compassionate, person-centered practical nursing care to individuals receiving treatment in BHN's Clinical Stabilization Services program under the direction of nursing and medical leadership.
    • Collect and communicate information about each individual's health status, symptoms, needs, and response to treatment to support safe and effective care planning.
    • Implement nursing orders, provide direct care and procedures within the LPN scope of practice, and support consistent implementation of individualized plans of care.
    • Complete health and nursing assessments, progress notes, medication records, and other required clinical documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
    • Safeguard medications and required records, monitor medication logs for accuracy, and maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, DEA, and organizational requirements.
    • Educate individuals served and their families about health conditions, treatment, medications, recovery, wellness, and prognosis, reinforcing teaching provided by the Registered Nurse and treatment team.
    • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and BHN policy, and communicate pertinent information through shift reports, staff logs, and the electronic medical record.
    • Collaborate with medical and program leadership, nursing staff, clinicians, families, and external healthcare facilities to coordinate services and promote continuity of care.
    • Serve as a nursing resource to individuals, families, and program staff and provide consultation, education, and in-service training as appropriate.
    • Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, mandatory training, quality-improvement activities, and other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

    Who You Are:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Current, unrestricted Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse license required.
    • At least one year of nursing experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to apply the nursing process and provide safe, effective care to individuals and families in a structured treatment environment.
    • Understanding of behavioral-health, recovery, and co-occurring conditions, with the empathy and clinical judgment needed to support individuals with complex needs.
    • Knowledge of medication safety, clinical documentation, confidentiality, quality assurance, utilization-review expectations, and applicable ethical and legal standards.
    • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary caregivers, advocate for individuals served, and delegate appropriately within each team member's training and scope.
    • Two years of sobriety preferred when applicable to the candidate's lived experience.
    • Excellent assessment, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency using electronic records and agency technology.
    • Ability to serve as essential staff and meet the physical requirements of the role, including regular standing, walking, and sitting and lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Pay Range: $32.00-$37.50
